Lovely atmosphere. Ahi tuna is a favorite of mine, but I prefer to spice my own. This was so spicy that I tried the red rice that accompanied the fish. That was a mistake, too hot also. I have eaten a lot of ahi but never so spicy. The waiter should have volunteered the information. It will be a long time before I ever go back. Had an early evening reservation and from being seated until paying the bill was over 3 hours. Too long for me.

Me and my wife went for dinner at this place on her birthday. The food was awesome and the decor was very good. Though a bit expensive, but it was worth it.

Atmosphere is nice but very quiet. I like a little more energy.

This upscale Californian inside San Jose's Hotel Valencia offers "great" seasonal fare along with a sizable list of regional wines; the "intimate", "elegant" interior features dim lighting "perfect for a romantic date", while the open-air courtyard with fountainside seating is perfect for more casual grazing.
