This was a terrible restaurant, the service was slow and terrible, the food tasted nasty, the pizza crusty seemed to be the same pre-made crust at a low grade grocery store, they took over an hour to get our food. The wait staff was very cocky, and rude. They desperately tried to be a higher end restaurant, but epically failing giving plastic menus and a nasty spin on food that is usually good. They could not even do a simple adjustment for a calamari when the waiter even said she could do it at home like how we wanted to. The chef tried to charge us $3 per plate for cake we brought for our grandparents 80TH BIRTHDAY! The Waiter was just rude, taking behind our backs about us next to the chef. Overall this is THE WORST RESTAURANT IN THE STATE OF OHIO I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I WOULD NOT GO HERE. There were also some problems with the salt and pepper.....nasty just nasty

I miss the atmosphere and food we experienced at the old location

I'd like to start off by saying I've never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so after I left this restaurant. The food was very good. There is no doubt this Chef has talent. The service and atmosphere was horrible. Our server took 12 minutes to bring us waters, she insulted the chef by calling one of the entree's "cardboard," and when asked for a vegetarian suggestion she suggested one of the sides. When we asked for additional marinera sauce she said the chef said no because he was running low and may need it for other orders. When two of us left the table to use the bathroom she made a rude comment to the remaining party about us. It was honestly a scene out of a movie. I haven't even mentioned the drunk hostess, or the check situation (our server said she couldn't split a bill with two credit cards so just put everything on one card.) We told her this was not ok and to have a manager show her how to do it.
Bottom line- although the food was good this restaurant is trying desperately to be high end and is WAY off. Snobbery doesn't sit well with patrons and I shouldn't feel like I'm in some exclusive club where the staff are ill mannered elitists. Someone needs to have a sit down with the owner. My prediction is that they're closed within the year... unless they completely restaff and hire managers that know about the customer experience.

They've really been trying to get this place to be an exclusive restaurant destination. They have been failing ever since they opened. I really wanted to like this restaurant, as I would love to welcome any new jazz venue.

If they are going to continue with their attempt to be an upper class 'elite' restaurant, they should consider throwing away their cheap flatware and make improvements on every single minor touch possible which they have missed.

Recently visited for dinner on Saturday night. The food was pretty good as was the service. BUT THE NOISE!!!!!!! They have done nothing to deaden the sound ... no carpet, no baffles, nothing. It made dinner talk just about impossible. I might give it another try, Hope they can work it out.
