I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Their reservation policy is beyond ridiculous. I was in town visiting friends, and we called everyday for four days trying to make a reservation for 3. We were told that they would only take reservations for 6 or more in advance, and that we needed to call the day of to make a reservation for a smaller group. We called 5 minutes after they opened on Saturday morning and they said they only had room for a party of 6 or more. They chose to turn down our business on multiple occasions and would not accommodate us because we were not a large group. They claim that they do it this way because they were never able to accommodate any large groups in the past; well now they cannot accommodate any smaller groups. This is an embarrassing policy that needs to be changed to allow for all sized groups, or they will continue to alienate their potential customers. I will not be giving this restaurant any of my business.

Great food. Good service. Place could use an update (looks like a 1980s bar) but the food is solid and so is the staff. Steak and Lobster were great - but also $60 which is about normal for a good steak place. I am adding this to my list to come back again.

What a disaster! I've written many restaurant reviews and probably eat at least 300+ restaurant meals a year (more than 500/year when I traveled for business for 15 years) so I think I know what makes a good restaurant. This, I would rate as one of my TOP 5 WORST restaurant experiences EVER. When we walked in we said, "dark and romantic, how nice", when we left my wife was in tears. It was so bad we walked out without even starting to eat our main course. What could be so bad? The people, particularly the maitre'd and the manager. We were lied to, berated and argued with for over a hour and 45 minutes about seating availability (at 8:45pm we couldn't be seated because of all the reservations that never showed up). Then they sat the two non-reserved walk-ins that came in after us before they sat us). We asked for a second helping of bread while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our entre to appear (from approximately 9:20 to 9:50 with the place at least half empty) but we were told they ran out. Then it appeared 5 minutes later. Then when we asked for the manager and tried to explain what a bad experience we were having, we got nothing but excuses (new employees) and an argument. In spite of my protests the manager did, very begrudgingly, comp our entire meal (kind of to spite us as he turned his back and walked away) but he was so belligerent about it my wife was, by then, in tears so we just got up, left the waitress a tip and left without eating it.

This place is practically right across the street from Sullivan's Steak House. At Sullivan's the steaks are the same price, every bit as good, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is significantly better. Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a good streak in downtown Anchorage, go to Sullivan's. You won't find me at Club Paris ever again.

The prices are equal to $$$$ fine dining. The place is more like a bar with no table cloths and bar tables and chairs. It is NOT fine dining by any stretch. Just fine dining prices.

Perfect filet mignon, the waitress was the best! The whole restaurant works as a team. Everyone happy to serve and have a job they enjoyed! 5 stars for me!

Wow! We were on a work travel trip to Anchorage and saw the reviews for Club Paris. So glad we chose this place! We indulged in the 16oz Sirloin with a blue cheese walnut sauce which was devine. We finished off dinner with a homemade dessert to enjoy for later. I had the key lime pie which was do delicious! You will not be disappointed!
