Clubhouse Restaurant, Huntington, New York Restaurant Details

Food:

went there for Eastern Dinner, there was NO lamb on the menu at all which was surprising!
ordered the Homemade Lobster Bisque soup - watery and NO lobster at all!
then got the Porterhouse Veal Chop - very small (only one) it was the size of a cheap porkchop you get at the grocery store and nothing but FAT! got to price fix dinner which was $45
the carrot cake was not home made either - frozen box cake!! VERY VERY disappointed!
NOW, i know why we got in without reservations!!!

Uncooked food. Terrible service. I decided to go out and have a steak with my wife. After we placed an order they brought out food. My wife's dish was fine while I asked for a medium well steak. When I cut into the steak I noticed that it wasnt even pink. It was ROUGH. Completely uncooked. So I sent it back and asked for a new one. Now my wife finishes up her dish and the steak comes in. NOW, I noticed that they brought the SAME steak just burned now. So I cut into it again just to find out that its still ROUGH. I decided to just send it back. I left hungry. All I heard from the staff is just excuses. I wrote them a letter via the website and got NO RESPONSE from them either. I figured that they will at last apologize but nothing. TERRIBLE customer service and food is not even done the right way.

Food:

This used to be a favorite steak house for us. However, the last few visits have been unremarkable to say the least. The quality of the steaks has dropped off as has the cooking. I can live with the less than stellar food that has now seemed to take center stage as long as the service is on point. Sadly, the staff at the Clubhouse seems to have become full of themselves or maybe they just can't be bothered. They gave us the impression that they were doing us the favor by serving us. Sadly for us, we won't be back.

Food was good. But unfortunatley for me if the service is not good I lose a lot of respect for the place. My waitress was so obnoxious, at one point she rolled her eyes at me. I asked for Rare plus, and my steak of course, came rare as could be.She put my desert next to me not in front of me, and only mine..like she couldnt be bothered.. She rushed us, and when dining out, I like to relax. I have been there several times, but after this I dont plan on going back. I will go to another steak house with better service.......
