Everyone should know Coldstone ice cream is delicious, its the service that will set them aside from the location up the street....
Service was mediocre until I got the register and suddenly it was a bit over the top. I felt a bit uneasy about the girl ringing me up since these kids think they are entitled to be tipped. I feel like tipping has become too expected and these kids are paid an hourly rate, same as I was when I was in HS. Scooping ice cream is not a tippable position, you aren't doing anything more than taking my order as someone would at a drive-thru. At any rate, my card was charged an extra $3 which I did not write in. I specifically write in "togo" on all receipts that do not require a tip for additional services.
I called the store to speak with a manager and hopefully I will get a call back considering it is an illegal practice to alter a signed receipt.
