as i type this review, while sitting in the resturant, it is 3:23pm, we ordered an hour and twenty minutes ago. a rotten resturant with rotten service thus far.

first, and this should have been our first indicator, we had to ask the bus boy if we could order. didn't kniw he was a bus boy as he was serving drinks.

our salads came quickly. rather small, but they came quickly. but what we ordered...

my dish was COLD, as it just came. and not what i expected.

I'll never return here again.

first, to the women, and the men who should be women, who complain about "atmosphere and/or decor " , please go home, sit in your perfect decor, and have a twinkie.

Syrian salad here is awesome. Love it. Then had a "small" pizza. It was huge. Took half of it to my fav bar and they loved it.

Great food, and perfect old home Italian atmosphere, I dont care what the limp wristers say.

First, the atmosphere is very lacking. I ordered the lasagna, which came out as a huge glob of tomato paste, once I dug through the canned sauce, I found the saddest lasagna I have ever seen! The ricotta was soooo watery. It was clear to me that this was a frozen lasagna from the grocery store. The prices are wayyy tooo high, for the quality of this place. I should've gone to Olive Garden...

This place has been around for a long time. If El Paso had neighborhoods such as the ones in the eastern third of the country, Como's would be a reliable neighborhood standby. One thing I have noticed about Italian restaurants is that every one has the notion that "authentic Italian" food tastes like what their mother made.....this means authentic Italian food varies from place to place on what was available to mother, what is available to the person cooking the food here and now, etc. Como's best dishes in my opinion include their Syrian salad and their Como's Chicken. I have never taken anyone who did not really enjoy these two dishes. I wish the wine list was more extensive, but then I also wish I was rich. This is a nice little restaurant run by two of the sweetest people in the world. Prices are very reasonable.
