Confucius Asian Bistro, Jersey City, New Jersey Restaurant Details

If I could have given a rating without giving any stars I would have... This restaurant isn't even worthy of one star. Hands down the worst chinese food and service I've ever experienced. It's in a decent area, so figured I'd try it out and see how the food was, how bad could it really be? I should have gotten on here to read the reviews prior to posting. They directed me to park in the parking garage and said they would validate my ticket. When I came in they told me that they were closing, I said I just got off the pone with the lady and she said to park in the garage and I could come in and eat. Mind you the it was 10:00 they close at 11:00 (Their menu says dine in orders end at 10:20).
The server said well you can do take out, and I said alright can i get a validation pass for the parking garage, after arguing with him for a couple minutes, he reluctantly gave me a parking pass. When I finally got up to go place my order, he said, "Maybe you'll come in a little earlier next time." When I left, I went to the parking garage to validate my ticket, he bamboozled me and gave me a validation ticket that had already been used, so I still had to pay for my parking. I tried to look past that, I got home and started to eat the food, the hot and sour soup was decent, so I figured the food had potential to be pretty good. I shouldn't have assumed. The food was disgusting, one of the worst food places I've ever eaten. I ordered sesame chicken, I don't know what I ate, but it surely wasn't sesame chicken, just chicken with orange paste and some sesame seeds on it. Some of my girlfriend's chicken was undercooked. Stay away from this place at all cost, I'll be happy if I don't have food poisoning in the morning. Also the food is overpriced. I get lunch specials with more food for half the price at other chinese places. I'm surprised they have 2 stars, they must be rating themselves. There's a reason why there's multiple reviews complaining about their staff..

Poor and rude service. While the food is decent I would avoid it for their bad service. This is the second time they messed up our order. Also they charge $3 delivery fee on seamless and pocket it all, pay northing to the driver.

yes, the first time I went there the waiter basically threw my plate on the table. but we went there again because we loved the food, and they were much nicer. they now know us by name and are extremely friendly to us. and again, the food is fast made and tastes wonderful for people who grew up eating more of a south american food style of dishes.

Absolute shit. As others, i was also subjected to rude behavior. Bad service, mediocre food and expects mandatory tips. *scoff*.
