Corpus Christi-days Inn Airport At I-37, Corpus Christi, Texas Restaurant Details

Food:

Went to visit this hotel about 1 yr and 1/2 ago since we wanted to see where Selena got murdered one nice gentleman that worked there gave us the story what room it was in 158 and she ran along the pool side on the parking lot side all the way to the Mexican restaurant that used to be the lobby when it was Days Inn. When we went to the knights inn to ask about Selena the owner said they are trying to erase that memory from the hotel and they are gomna do their best not to talk about it because they get annoyed when people ask about Selena. I think thats the only reason many people go there. They should appreciate the fact that people even consider staying there even when their hotel is filthy and by now I thought they would've been done with remodeling. We are going back to visit but after that comment they made to me I don't plan to stay.

Food:

Had $350 worth of electronics stolen out of my room by the housekeeping. And the owner of this hotel refused to reimburse for everything. The room was also dirty. An overall horrible experience with Knights Inn.

Food:

TV, was told only has two channels.
Phone, doesn't work because lines are old.
AC, can't keep up- set to 63 and stays roughly 70 degrees in the room... It's November.
Bed- actually pretty comfortable.
No kitchenette. Tiny minifridge. Economy sized microwave.
Faucet for shower/tub loose and not installed correctly.
Laundry services- half of the machines were out of service and there's no change machine- have to walk up front.
Biggest issue- the door to the room. Drags on the floor and you have to shoulder the door open unless your a fair sized individual... makes alot of noise.
Housekeeping also disregards "do no disturb" signs- for someone on night shift, that gets really old.

If you're working the Lyondellbasell project- avoid.

Food:

I mistakingly stayed here with my girlfriend. This place had a leak in the lobby of the hotel with a trashcan catcher. Mold on the ceiling. Sadly this was not noticed until check out.

The room was secure and the ac was cold. The sheets were clean. The comforter had small holes in it and the lights next to the bed had either rust or burn marks under the shades. One lamp shade was halfway falling off. The over the sink light didn't work. The bathroom floor appeared dirty and the tub had the center drain open to where the rusty pipe was exposed. There was mold all over the tub.

We did sleep there but have learned our lesson. We did not feel like we got what we paid for. Felt like the room should have been half the cost or just condemn the place and get it over with. Good luck.

Better than expected!!

In need of a weekend away, I booked a night at Knights Inn Corpus Christi North Hotel for me and my fiancée. I hoped the suite would be nice with all of the standard features a room should have. Once checked in (hours early - thank you Knights Inn Corpus Christi North) we found that the layout of the room was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking was convenient and simple. The getaway was a success in large part to the fact that this hotel had a very comfortable feel. My search for the perfect fit is found - this will be our place of choice from here on out.
