Cosi, Arlington, Virginia Restaurant Details

Food:

I usually get the tuna melt, but it's not always good. It usually depends on who makes it. I do however LOVE their bread. Also, there's NEVER someone at the front to take your order. There's always at least a 5mins wait until someone decide to come out to take your order.

Food:

When there's so many good local restaurants, why go to a chain like Cosi? Well, there's one reason- the s'mores. Cosi is the only restaurant I can think of that can satisfy your s'more craving. They bring out a platter of all the fixings including your own personal fire to roast those marshmallows. If you need a bite to eat, eat local, but if you have a sweet tooth, had on over to Cosi. It's right next to the Ballston Metro so it's easy to satisfy that craving and then hope onto the Metro.

Food:

Surly staff (except for one of the young cashier girls who is super helpful and friendly) and sloooooooow and rude kitchen staff. I don't need you to roll your eyes at me when I ask what time lunch starts, cashier girl. Also, the guy that brings your food to the table on weekends is extremely lazy (youngish Latino guy). He left my order (hot sandwich and soup) at the register because he was too lazy to bring it to me at the table outside. He just waved and set it down on the counter. At least the food is tasty IF you get it while it's warm.

Food:

Ordered an asiago bagel with cream cheese. They called out the order and my number then said "Oh nevermind" and put it in a bag with another order and gave it to a couple that ordered after me. When I finally got my order after 2 more people, who also ordered after me, were served, I discovered that it was not toasted after I arrived at work.

Food:

Good coffee and friendly morning staff, which is why this is bumped up to 3 stars. Mediocre flatbread sandwich. I ordered the multigrain and the person who called my number handed me my sandwich and apologized that they didn't have multigrain so she made it with "regular". I didn't have a problem with that but it makes me wonder why she didn't inform me or the register that they were out of the multigrain. In addition to that, the sandwich was lackluster for $8.
