Cosi, New York, New York Restaurant Details

Food:

I order dinner from this location many evenings as I work accross the street. The staff is always friendly and quick to make my order. The food is delicious and the manager Johnny is pleasant and courteous.

Food:

I have been enjoying lunch here with coworkers for years and NEVER experienced before what I have this week. The outdoor temps have been ranging from 70-100 all week and for some reason the manager still refuses to turn on the air conditioning. It is disgusting! The temp inside is warmer than outside. These conditions are unacceptable to eat and/or work in, the poor employees are sweating while preparing food! And what kind of bacteria is growing in the food at this temperature, I'm definitely going to call 311 to find out more options of reporting this kind of thing, I refuse to go back until the manager addresses the situation and stops trying to save a penny at the cost of food quality.

I went to this Cosi's location this evening. I got to the store a few minutes before the store was schedule to officially close and was turned back around. The manager then greeted me and after explaining to him I came all the way from the Bronx NY he agreed to take my order. The worker did not agree with him and stated they didnt have any more bread.... Their service in my opinion was horrible, I was extremely upset that I was turned around before the store was officially closed. I will NEVER EVER RECOMMENDED OR GO BACK TO THAT COSI LOCATION!

Worst Cosi ever. Terrible service. Please avoid if you can. The girl that takes orders (with a thick foreign accent) is so arrogant that it's hard to describe.

Horrible service! The lines are madness here, and it wasn't even "the lunch time rush"!! There are lines on top of lines, aside from the fact that the place looks likes like it could use a good cleaning. My lunch was ok, but being in there stressed me out.. I needed a break from my break. Won’t be going there anymore! Get it together 56th street!
