02/13/2016 1:16 amMy wife and I come here at least twice a year and never once have had a complaint. The servers are friendly, kind and prompt; you don't wait for service at all. The Lemon Chicken and the Idaho Trout are out of this world. Seriously have never enjoyed trout this much...ever. Try the Chicken Gorgonzola some time, simply amazing. Ignore the naysayers, they probably caught a waiter on a bad night (heaven forbid anyone is ever imperfect). My wife and I will continue to eat here so long as the food is as fresh and amazing as it has been. |

11/05/2015 9:01 pmThe steaks and burgers here are great. The salads as well. If you are trying top plan a very nice night out, Cottonwood Grille is a wonderful option. You will be very happy you went here. They do a perfect job at nailing the little things just as much as the big ones. I love all the little details that go into making my night one to remember. |

07/30/2015 5:54 amAMAZING PLACE ! you can choose to sit outside on the patio facing the beautiful Boise River and the food is divine. I got the penne with broccoli and shrimp, it is a little pricey but definitely worth it! The best server there is Ryan he goes above and beyond and makes sure your cup is never half empty and is a joy to be around ! |

07/24/2015 9:38 pmSlow service, watery pasta dishes, poor communication between the wait staff and the kitchen, over billing, and a crap shoot for the restaurant not to be out of what ever you order. This establishment is way over rated. Go there for lunch, sit in the lounge, and order a salad. That's about what they can handle. I've eaten there several times, and my revue represents an overall rating. On a more personal note, they're lucky that they didn't get sued when we asked the waitress to ask the kitchen if the pheasant sauce contained shiitake mushrooms. After returning from the kitchen, she declared it shiitake mushroom free. My date ate the sauce and became ill while we were still in the restaurant. Then the waitress comes back to the table to tell us that she talked to the chef and that it does have the mushrooms in it that my date is allergic to. Gee thanks. One night I got served a watery beef stroganoff. When the waitress came back to see how we were doing, I complained about it. She agreed that it looked watery. I asked her why she served it to me then. She said that she thought that I might not complain about it. The manager refused to comp me. So, I've been to Barbacoa, Asiago's, Tocanos, and Joe's Crab Shack twice instead. What a great business decision he made! He saved Cottonwood Grille a whole $2 in pasta! |
