Hello Danial,
I'll start this by stating that my wife, grandson and I have been loyal Country Inn customers for many years. The stores are always clean, the food is always great and your cooks are the best. Jaime and "little Juan" in particular can always be counted on to get our orders right. I worked with these guys in my former life as a restaurant manager. They were great cooks even then. The rest of your staff is always friendly and accommodating and always treat my wife and special needs grandson like "family".
However. "Razi" needs to retire. He seems to have forgotten that we pay his paycheck. Tonight was another reason we will refuse to have him as our waiter.
My grandson ordered the Crab Melt. Razi said to the effect of " We don't have that tonight, where'd you get that menu? What do you want then?"
My wife ordered the grilled salmon dinner. The fish was tough and overcooked. When she asked for the fish to be re-done, Razi made her feel like it was her fault and that the cook messed up and she was wasting a $17 meal. He told her the management was going to get mad because of it. When she tried to explain the problem he just took the plate and walked off. He told her that she was making him forget what he was doing, even though he seemed to be more interested in watching the TV than taking care of customers.
This kind of rude behavior is unbecoming to your store. We've heard others make comments about his service as well.
Please do your restaurant a favor and retire this person.
We will continue to enjoy dining at your Saratoga location as we have for years, but if he is the only choice for a server, we'll go somewhere else.

Infuriatingly, Google lumps reviews for multiple locations together. This review is for the Saratoga Avenue location, which is definitely NOT as good as the other locations sound. In our case the food took a long time to arrive and was lukewarm when it did. We would have mentioned it to the hostess when she dropped off the credit card receipt, but she didn't even ask how things were. No manager in sight.

I've always had a good meal there. It's now going to be called mission city grille in front of target where El Camino Scott Boulevard across from McDonalds. They should be opening on the 15th of December 2014

Best soufflé omelets ever! Been eating at their restaurants since it was Country Inn on Stevens Creek where Santa Row now sits. First place I'd go when I'd come in town from Los Angeles before I moved back. Oxox
