This restaurant is located next door to the Hard Rock Cafe on the riverwalk which is in a beautiful location. If you do sit outside try to get a table under an umbrella next to the river or you will be dodging pigeon droppings and dealing with honey bees. First off expect to pay a lot of money for not very good barbecue. For 3 kids and 3 adults it was over a hundred dollars and everyone left more than half of their food behind on their plates. The only good parts of the meal was the bread with honey butter and the sweet tea was good. The brisket was very dry the grilled chicken breast was bland and the hamburgers and french fries had the flavor of motor oil which means they don't change the oil in their fryers very often. If you spend that much money on a meal it should be a lot better than that. On the other hand the waitress was very good and apologized for the pigeons which were beyond her control, but the reason you go to a restaurant is the food and it was for the most part bad and way overpriced I would not recommend this place at all. There are a lot better barbecue places in San Antonio at half the price.

Was worried about the negative reviews but tried anyway.....Its not the Dinosaur BBQ but everything besides the brisket was good, smoked turkey and pork ribs were great. Homemade sides and great service. 100% recommend.

The Country Line has huge delicious portions. It is a great BBQ joint.

UNCLE GERRY'S TIP: Take time to walk around the Riverwalk. There are many different stores and shops and you can even take a boat ride if you don't feel like walking.

How are people bashing the mashed potatoes? Probably the best item on the menu. The BBQ was decent, but I have high expectations since I'm front Fort Worth. The beef ribs were great. Huge with lots of meat, not dry and seasoned perfectly. Pork ribs were a disappointment being tiny with little meat on them. Didn't get the "special" bread but should've since the house bread is essentially sliced bread from the grocery store. Fairly good value for what you pay for here.
