I was completely disappointed in this bar. I will never attempt to eat here or drink here again. The service was absolutely horrible and the staff is very rude and unprofessional. I asked for a manager and Karen said that he would be in, in a little while. I of course was there for a little while, cause the food and drink took forever. Chad did show up, and came to my table, introduced himself and asked what the issue was, but only to be just as rude and not favorable of crediting my food, which came out wrong and was horrible. I wasn't going to argue with someone who obviously has no experience in customer relations and or knows what truly is business etiquette. I did not pay for my food, I left and just paid enough to cover my drinks. It maybe wrong on my part, but I hope that it was a learning experience for Karen and Chad.

Now for everyone else to know, this was a few months ago. So I thought after talking to others that also have had bad experience there, I would investigate this business to see how it is still open. My investigation included finding out that Chad is not an owner or even a manager, he is simply just married to one of the owners. What I found out is that there is a married couple and two other girls that are sole owners of The Cove. I d advise if you have any issues with this place,I would try to contact one of them, there info is on the liquor license of Nebraska. I would be shocked if any of them know, how their employees act or treat customers. I would also be shocked if any of them know that he is acting as an owner. I would be completely disappointed if i found out that, a rude, inconsiderate want to be owner acted this way on my behalf.

I would steer as far away from this place as possible. I advise that the owners on the liquor license step up and be owners all four of you, if that isn't possible, I would say you would be better off selling this place, before you all have to file bankruptcy. I would say between the four of you that you can start acting like bar owners, step up to the plate and create an establishment that would be worth coming to.

The Cove needs to accommodate the needs and complaints of the customers and train the staff to be more respectful to your customers.

Sincerely a lost customer

Mel

If I could give a negative rating, I would. The service was slow and the staff was rude. When I asked the bar tender for his managers name he told me he was the manager and the owner. He was very rude. I sat next to the megatouch machine, not behind it and he told me if I wanted to sit there then i could deal with slow service. He does not care about his customers and his prices are too high for the low quality well drinks and mix ratio. I hope no one goes there. He is a terrible person to give money to.

Not to mention the bar is basic, the heaters were out of order on the patio, the fire pit has never been used, there is no stage for the band, they took 20 minutes to serve each round (i ordered 3), i asked to close my tab and the lady walked away (another 20 minute struggle).

Terrible bar!

Meh. Nothing terrible but nothing to write home about. There are better places than this bar.

There are 2 good things about this bar. The first is the very well-made, spacious beer garden. The other is that the area is pretty clean.

Drinks are noticeably more expensive than other places, and they no longer serve pitchers of beer, presumably in the hopes that people will buy more expensive drinks, or perhaps in an attempt to make the bar feel "classy."

The bartenders have typically proven to be inexperienced, and often rude, and it almost seems quicker to order a drink from a waitress than directly from the bar.
I've only had one outgoing and friendly waitress here, and even then, she was fairly inattentive.

The crowd seems to be mostly younger people. I've never seen this place have a very busy night - which raises more questions about the service.

I imagine that if there was more competition in the area, this place would have to make some drastic changes to stay afloat.
