Almost always full. Okay Cracker barrel, it is TIME to expand your parking lot and your store. This place is almost ALWAYS full and you can never get in. I can say that I would like to eat here more often but they have got to expand. -1 star for failing to keep up with their ever increasing customer base!

Biscuits are disgustingly salty and dry! The mashed potatoes don't even come with gravy and, as the biscuits, the mashed potatoes were also dry. I almost choked because I couldn't drink from my water considering it tasted like the cups had been washed with hand sanitizer. -Arianna Long

individually, these would have been minor annoyances that may have gone pretty much unnoticed, but there were several:

1. Our party of 4, including my 92-year-old father, were being shown to our table. There was a table open, and another by the window which was being bussed as we walked in. The hostess asked us to wait for a moment for the table by the window. When that table was cleared, she took us to the one that was already open, not by the window! I said I thought we were waiting for the one by the window. She said she was sorry, but she had been instructed to seat us here. Keep in mind, my 92 year old dad had been asked to stand and wait a minute--turned out for no reason.
2. We were given lunch menus. When we asked the server if you no longer serve breakfast all day, he said yes, there should be a breakfast menu on the table also. There wasn't, so he fetched a couple for us.
3. My dad and brother ordered the sticky roll French toast. When he brought our food (after a more than typical wait), he said he was sorry, but they just ran out of sticky rolls. He offered a substitute, which they each ordered and waited another longer than acceptable time for.
4. When he brought our food (the first round, when he announced the sticky rolls were gone), it was cold.

I did not see the check, so I don't know if they comped anything (they should have!), but anyway, we were all very disappointed in our Cracker Barrel experience, which has historically had much better customer service and hot food.
