This is a great place for small to medium size groups it is comfort food in a very cozy atmosphere. It isn't health food by any stretch, but they offer some nice optional extras like grass fed beef or gluten free buns. The salads and coffee are passable. If you like meatloaf they do a nice job.

Tilapia with rice pilaf was really good. Very nice format.

I always get the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Perfect level of spice in the sauce. Love this little Monona gem, although it's only open for breakfast and lunch so come early. I would compare Cranberry Creek to something like Panera or Noodles Co. This is not a typical sit-down wait-staffed restaurant. Here, you order at a counter and can either sit down or take your food to-go. I like that Cranberry Creek makes higher quality food for a service between "fast" and "slow"... Minus 1 star for prices, $11.99 is a bit expensive for their "signature dishes"

We recently had Cranberry Creek cater the dinner for our 200-guest wedding, and they did an amazing job. From day one Jim (Catering Manager) truly valued our service by treating us well at the tastings, and was available to answer any questions (and if you're planning a wedding, you know that many questions will inevitably arise) in person and via email, and always responded promptly.

When the big day came, Cranberry Creek executed so well, and the meal went off without a hitch. They also cut and plated the cake for us so it was ready to go after the meal, as well as answered all of our specific requests in regards to the food and drinks. All of the food was delicious (we had the cordon bleu and the pot roast), and the menu was just the right amount of food for a hearty and delicious dinner. It was the perfect temperature when they served it, and I know that only helped the already delicious taste. Our guests have been commenting to us days and weeks after the wedding, letting us know how much they enjoyed not only the wedding, but the food. There were many satisfied guests that night, including the bride and groom ourselves. I would highly recommend Cranberry Creek to cater your Madison-area wedding. You will not be disappointed!
