Crawdaddy's Restaurant, Gatlinburg, Tennessee Restaurant Details

Was there on 2-13-16. AWESOME waitress and equally awesome food. Definitely recommend. Low country boil and salmon were great.

So this afternoon, my boyfriend and I and some of my family went to eat at this restaurant called crawdaddy's in Gatlinburg. Well needless to say I have never experienced such HORRIBLE service in my whole life!! Like horrible is by far an understatement. I am a server as most of y'all know, so I completely understand what it's like to be a server in a busy restaurant. Well our server today we had asked three times for some crackers and when he came back through we asked a fourth time and he proceeds to say to us "uhm I'm kinda busy you need to be patient. I only make $2 an hour so I don't move too quickly." So at this point after he made that comment I asked to speak with the manager. Well then our food came to the table and I said something to the server about being very rude to us and he replies back with "look I'm busy and I don't have time for y'all if you wanted better service and want to keep getting rude with people you should have went to McDonald's." I've never in my whole life been so offended by a server!!!! Believe me I know exactly what it's like to be a server but never would I ever speak to a table that way and if I did I would be fired from my job on the spot. When the manager finally got there I told her to give us another server or we were leaving. We got a new server which was nice, but we ended up spending $70 for food and treated with nothing but disrespect. So I highly DO NOT recommend eating at that restaurant. Poor management and poor servers....

The alligator bites were awesome! The lump crab cakes were phenomenal and the fish and chips were awsome! Can't wait to eat there again!

It was kind of a slow night when we went. But the atmosphere seems like it'd be great! The food was good. I had the fish and chips and the batter was delish. The husband had the shrimp boil and he got plenty of shrimp! Like seriously, it's a pound combined, including potatoes, sausage, and corn and there was one piece of each and easily 30 shrimp. Our waitress was incredibly nice and kind. Overall a pleasant place.

I went this past Thursday with 10 other folks from New Orleans. I had 3 7&7s and they were so watered down that I did not feel a thing. I am a lite drinker and I am normally drunk with 2 7&7s. I told the bartender - 7&7 and jut a short splash of 7UP. I watched him fix them each time. The worst drinks I ever had at a place. The Karoke guy was cursing a individuals on the stage trying to sing - not professional even though he said he has been doing it for 12 years. Friday night we went someplace else and had a great time. WHO LET THE DOGS OUT. ROO ROO ROO.. I recommend this place if you like watered down drinks and bad seafood.
