Great food, great vibe! I went there for the first time, for a meeting with my business partners and found it to be good pub food. Our waitress was very helpful and prompt. She was there every time we wanted to order food or another drink. I had a Lagunita's IPA on tap and followed up with a very good Manhattan. For food I had a one of the specials, which was a buffalo chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Delicious! I would recommend Crogan's if you're in the Montclair area.

I just got back from Crogan*s after a meal with my family. I ordered the 8oz top serloin and shrimp entree ($21) and found it to be delicious. We arrived around 5 *o clock so there weren*t too many other people there, but it slowly started filling up. Not too loud, friendly servers, very clean, Great Specials! I*d come back with friends, so long as they weren't looking for anything too exciting or edgy. Crogan*s serves basic food, done very well.

Locals only vibe... (and I am one)... less than mediocre food at premium prices. Retiree hangout with no desire to welcome others. There are better options around... go to Camber instead.

This place could be better and you know they know it too. Awful wine list. The types of wines you can find at grocery stores and big box stores and do you know why? It's certainly because they get all of their wines from the liquor companies for the sake of convenience and pitched discount pricing.

The food is ok in a pinch, but everything is about $20 these days and it's really pushing the quality price ratio for pub food.

The best thing about this place is the staff. Always love them!

But soon, when its key demographic increasingly ages out, Crogan's will either fail or adapt to the expectations of the more and more hills customers who have higher expectations.

Come on, we live in the Bay Area for Coco Crisp's sake!!
