My wife and I wanted to try to something new. We researched for a decent hot dog restaurant. We found Dad's Hot Dogs on an internet search. Most of the reviews were positive and one was very negative. I should have been warned. We ordered two chili cheese dogs. They arrived at our table while we were sitting down. The buns were cold like they just came out of the refrigerator. The chili was warm and didn't even melt the cheese. The chili tasted like it came out of can. The hot dog was thin and tiny and absolutely tasteless. A $1.50 hot dog from Costco is five times as good. At less it tastes like a hot dog. We were scalped for $20.10 for two chili dogs, 2 bags of chips and 2 sodas. Save your money and go to the Der Weinerschnitzel. At least your meal will be hot and taste like a hot dog.
