I used to eat lunch here when they first opened, then changed jobs and location to a more distant part of town and did not return. Saw their store again driving around one day and decided I had to make a return trip.

Besides the outdoor bbq chicken and other meats that the owner cooks up on the outside patio in good weather on Thursdays, the luncheon specials include enchiladas, pork chops, puffy tacos, and the like along with breakfast tacos which are served all day (until closing at 2:00 pm). All of the lunch specials are served with tea or coffee included and are extremely reasonable.

After the garlicky pork chops, tasty beef and cheese enchiladas, very passable rice and beans, some great tortillas, and very good guacamole nachos, I was sorry that it had taken me so long to get back to this place. The food is good, the prices are great, and I got called "Sweetie" by the waitress . . . twice!!

Just a couple of gripes, no complimentary salsa and chips, Coke is served in bottles or cans - no fountain, and they do not serve any beans other than refried. If that's all I can come up with to complain about, then we definitely have a winner here.
I have got to quit looking for better and better Mexican restaurants. Every time I turn around I find one that is as good or better than the last. And at the current rate, I should probably have enchilada sauce and hot salsa coursing through my veins before the end of the year; that is if they don't plug up first.

I ordered a carne guisada and a carne asada small taco and my sister ordered the home special 1, and my mother the chicken fajitas. The carne asada was so bland it tasted like the meat was cooked with no seasoning. My carne guisada tasted better, it needed a dash of salt but other wise way better then the other taco. I think this place has good expectations if the food is just seasoned properly. But I don't think I would want to go back.

It was a late lunch, the food was decent, beans not so good, brought the wrong food out. Don't go if you want chips and salsa, not available. Over all just so so.

Huge breakfast tacos. An excellent lunch menu that provides hot, just-like-homemade Tex-Mex at an incredible price. Personally, I think the carne guisada is the best you'll get anywhere.
