08/30/2012 7:56 pmIn a sea of cookie-cutter California cuisine, this place shines like a beacon of an authentic food experience. As soon as you walk in you know you are someplace different, the decor is timeless Moroccan, the food is authentic and delicious and the service is great too. Plan to spend at least 3 hours to get through this middle-eastern feast. A perfect place to go with a group! Now if you think Denny's is great and want to get everything "on the side" or are in a hurry, this is NOT your best choice. If you want a real dining experience, this is a great place to dine! |

04/28/2012 4:39 pmHow did this end up as a "Top Pick" with a 4 star review; I'd like to know. Perhaps understanding the venue/theme better would have improved my choice. I had heard from friends/acquaintances that this place as excellent; and the online reviews were pretty good. The initial introduction - the large brass doors and the courtyard/fountain entry were a clue that either this was gonna be over the top, or a bit pretentious. It turned out to be the latter. Food was not very good; and the staff aloof. The "authenticity" I believe is all gimmick in order to cover for that fact. |

03/16/2010 8:00 pmmy favorite morrocan restaurant outside of north africa -- and it's just over the hill from me! from the minute you walk into the other-worldly open courtyard, prepare to be stunned. the food is great, the atmosphere exquisite, and the service very personal. this is a great place to take a date or out-of-towners who want to avoid teh touristy stuff. |

10/02/2007 8:00 pmi brought some moroccan-food virgins here with high hopes of turning them into fans, convincing them to come see the sexy belly dancing as an extra incentive. what a disappointment this turned out to be - the food was good, service fine and decor authentic, but the horrid belly dancer put a huge damper on the night. she was not only not good to look at but could not belly dance - i have been to many moroccan restaurants where the talent was truly amazing and this was terrible! my company (and i) will not be back. |

02/21/2006 7:00 pma little taste of morocco at the heart of hollywood. the decor is stunning since they have recreated a 15th century palace. the menu is fixed and consists of a seven(!) course meal, belly dancers and excellent service. this place is great for groups, grea |
