I was out for St. Pattys and bought 2 beers here. I didn't notice at the time, but I had received the wrong card. So instead of being charged $16, I was charged $96.50!!! When I called in to get it sorted out, the barkeeper told me to hold on, and just left the phone out on the bar. Unprofessional service in a highly irritating situation. If I pass by there again with drinking, I hope to have the extreme pleasure of vomiting on their property.

this is the worst place i've ever been to in phila. i live in society hill and the employees were so rude to me, and did not even knowledge my existence because i look young. when i told them i was going to leave all they said was, "no sweat off my back." seriously. do not go here. it is not worth the time and the attitude they give here. this might be one of the worst places i have been to in philadelphia. do not even bother.

Great beer selection, kind of pricey, but it's the city, what do you expect. Friendly staff. Haven't tried the food there yet.

though i'm usually not a fan of $6 beer night, the dark horse is still worth visiting. we (6 of us) went for beers and a snack, all ordered beers, skipped the snack. chose to sit outside, was nice. 2 felt like pizza and brought it back to the table. once the waiter saw this he snatched the half eaten slice and told us "this is a business" ... cool, but ... you don't offer pizza, and we didn't want any of the cleverly named appetizers.

overall this place is cool to hangout, make sure your chair isn't blocking the sidewalk and is at least 6 feet away from the curb ... "it's the law"
