Me and my wife and son ate there.. it was a wonderful meal. Just need better service. I will go again.

First time eating here with a friend, and to be honest, the food we had today is rather bland and underseasoned. Also the waiter we had was rather unattentive.

This was my first time here and I must say I was impressed!! I ordered the chicken and broccoli which was good. My friend ordered the ribs and shrimp meal and OMG...ribs fall off the bone! Wish I would've ordered the ribs! The taste was heavenly...if I'm ever in the Greensboro area again this is a trusted go-to! The wait staff from hostess station to waiter was great! :) I'm sure if I lived here this would definitely be an every week dining place lol

I was in Greensboro, NC on business and a group of us decided that we wanted to experience first hand this fabulous NC barbeque we'd been hearing so much about. So we were looking for barbeque joints in the Greensboro area when we came across Darryl's. After looking at several other restaurants we all agreed that Darryl's it is.

As we drove up, we were very pleased with the curb appeal and when we entered the restaurant, baaaam, Darryl's hit the interior decor nail on the head.

The hostess greeted us immediately and took us to our table (lots of unique seating ).

The waiter showed up promptly and took our drink order (great beer / wine selection). When he came back to go over the menu, we asked him about the process they used for preparing their pork ribs. About two minutes into the discussion he informed us that they had beef ribs which were not on the menu("secret").

This intrigued me, but I was hesitant to order the beef, as I can not remember the last time I had good beef ribs at a restaurant. Most restaurants use the beef ribs as a cheap substitute for pork, and it shows, as they do not put the time or care into them that is needed to make them memorable.

But after the waiter went through the preparation of the "Secret beef ribs"(SBR's) we dove in.

When the SBR's were delivered to the table, the visual presentation was mouth watering. As I grabbed hold of the rib and picked it up, I could see that the meat was barely hanging on to the bone (Yuuuuummy was bouncing around inside my brain) and when I bit into the rib, there was no disappointment.

This may have been the best beef ribs that I ever had at a restaurant.

If they can do beef ribs, I'd make a educated guess that their pork ribs are equally as good.

Great curb appeal, wonderful interior decor, very pleasant / prompt staff and memorable SBR's.

Only regret is that I got the 4 piece, should have gotten the 6.

Everything was delicious!
I got a wrap, my mom got a philly, and we shared cheesecake which was TO DIE FOR!
Can't wait to eat there again. yum yum.
