Nice lunch buffet every day. Never visited any other time but I imagine the food is always good.

Food:

This is the best Jamaican restaurant in Madison. The food is amazing and the people are so friendly. I stop there about every time I am in Madison. Do not like ridiculing the other Jamaican restaurants in the area but they are only subpar at the best. It is worth the time to make a stop here.

Food:

Great Jamaican food that is vegetarian and vegan friendly. They have a generous lunch buffet daily as well as one on Friday night. David's also sell their eponymous jerk sauce which is great when you want to spice up ordinary veggie stir fry at home. Their service is laid back and friendly but avoid going if you need prompt attention. Nonetheless I believe they have a more authentic taste and atmosphere so give them a shot!

The jerk chicken plate was smoky and tender. Simple, fresh slaw. Big portions. Service was smiling and gracious. Red Stripe tasted perfect. Most definitely recommend, and I'll be back soon. But right now I need a nap because I ate too much. [loosens belt]

Best use of an old Taco Bell. Very good food and great service. I got the ribs and chicken plate with peas (apparently this means red beans) and rice. It came with a small cabbage salad as well. Served up like a homestyle meal. I put the homemade jerk sauce that was on the table on every bite of the chicken. Delicious. Ribs were cooked with a dry rub then coated in a semi-sweet BBQ sauce. Pretty good. No complaints. When the staff caught wind it was my birthday a quarter of a key lime pie showed up at our table. It was also delicious.
