De Lazy Lizard, Ocean City, Maryland Restaurant Details

Food:

We went during happy hour and was told we had to sit at the bar in order to get the happy hour prices which was absolutely ridiculous! To make matters worse, we were told they had to have our credit card in order to order drinks/meal even though we told them we were paying cash. We paid cash; and, after arriving home, realized they also charged our credit card as well so we ended up paying DOUBLE! This place is a complete rip off, and I would not recommend it to anyone!

Well we will NEVER Come here again. ABSOUTELY HORRIBLE customer service. Asked the guy to split the bill since we were with some friends and he charged my card more than the entire bill ($88 when my bill should have only been 41) and tells me it's fine and he'll fix it but it's showing in my bank account and won't be fixed on my bank account for at least 5 days. Just trying to enjoy and evening with friends eating dinner and turned into a complete nightmare. Didn't even offer a discount and quite honestly our meal should have been free! The waiter didn't even apologize. Oh and the manager didn't either. Hire more Americans that can understand what splitting a bill means and especially since we even labled what should be split. food wasn't that good.. Drinks weren't that strong and took forever to get out food and check

What a shame! We used to frequent Dr Lazy Lizard. Went back this year and the prices were completely jacked up. The atmosphere was completely different. Every item on the menu that we enjoyed was wiped away....chicken fingers for $12.99??? You have to be kidding me!! Guess we won't be going back....SO dissapointed :(

Great location. Cocohito was yummy. They forgot to mush or mottle the mint but not a big deal. Beautiful view. Family friendly. Playground for the kids. Waitress was great. Drinks are pricier than i expected but i don't drink often. For smelled wonderful but we weren't there for eats.

Food:

Food was very good. BUT we had a fairly large party (around 10 checks) and for some reason it was impossible for them separate the check. So we personally had to go over the entire check and circle what we had and add up our own totals. Then hand that back with our cards. We're not allowed to leave until everything was paid off. They were not too quick about that either. Very unimpressed with that.
