Denny's, Colorado Springs, Colorado Restaurant Details

Food:

Took my son here for his birthday breakfast and was super disappointed. It took forever to get the food, but when it came my sons egg was raw, there was a hair in it and the hash browns were burnt. The waitress served them like she didn't notice. A waste of $50. Just gross.

Food:

I came in because Denny's sent me a coupon for a free meal on my birthday today. The manager who checked me out glared at me when I mentioned the coupon and when I showed her my ID she told me that she didn't believe it because she "has a cousin who makes those". She angrily accepted the coupon and as I walked out she glared at me again and questioned my birth year. Classy.

The food was good though and the African American gentleman who waited on me was very nice, but I'd still recommend avoiding this particular Denny's though.

Food:

I swear if I could give a minus 5 stars I would in a heart beat. Our waitress has been friendly and what not but this place is effin dirty. You can feel it while you walk and the tables feel so dirty and sticky. Not to mention that we got handed a dirty ass fork. When we asked for clean forks the waitress offered to bring us hot water to clean ourselfs. Seriously?! I don't work there, she does. And as her job working there she needs to make sure that forks, spoons, plates etc are CLEAN before bringing them out. To our surprice, I guess she was bother by my attitude of asking her to bring clean ones out because I sure the hell was not gonna clean it,, she brings us out like 8 forks lol ... I HATE THIS LOCATION. DON'T EVER GO THERE!!!

Food:

I know this Denny's has it's issues, it's had them for years. We went because it was close and to try their new value menu. The food was good, and even though I know this place has issues, I have to give props to our waitress Jacquie (I'm sure I spelled it wrong). She was fantastic, they were short handed, slammed, and she was juggling everything. I watched her wait on people, bus the tables, run back to help cook, etc etc etc , and not once did she get rude or snippy, she was sweet and apologetic and made sure our food was good. I watched other tables leave crappy tips for her because the food was slow, so my group pitched in to add tips to those tables (it's wrong to tip low, I don't care how bad the service was). Again, amazing job by her, she went above and beyond and kept a cool head, I hope she gets recognized for it!

Food:

Absolutely horrible experience. No one acknowledged us as we waited to be seated. Once someone finally realized we were waiting we were sat in the back corner where we received very poor service. Iced tea tasted moldy and service admitted it was from the previous day. She brewed new tea but glass had bits of food floating in it. By then we had lost our appetite. We will never be returning to this Denny's again. (the black guy that works there was really respectful and nice, everyone should be fired).
