Denny's, Madison, Wisconsin, Hamburgers Restaurant Details

Food:

My review back a couple of years ago: The food is good but the restaurant itself is gross.

My update: I went here on the primaries day in 2016 to get something to eat after school and the remodeling of this place is amazing!! The employees are wonderful and the food is spectacular!

Food:

Our waitress was wonderful. She was friendly and knowledgeable even though she looked very tired and over it. However, that was the only redeeming quality of the place. I ordered some steak and eggs, asking the steak medium, and it came out late because the cook had overcooked it (I didn't see it; our waitress said she had to point it out to him). Then, when my plate did finally come, the steak looked very sad and pale and it was just plain raw nearer to the bone. I'm not very upset, it is Denny's after all and I'm not much of a steak snob anyway, but I guess I was disappointed in my choice to come here. I could've just bought a better steak from the grocery store for less money and cooked it faster than I had to wait. My girlfriend didn't have a problem with the skillet she ordered, though.

Food:

ok so we are seated near the kitchen's window. the wife and I can see the cook from here. Got our drinks and still checking out the menu when I hear the Wife yell "oh hell no" I look up and in the Kitchen to see the cook blowing his nose after coughing into his hands. wiping them on a towel then grabbing a utensil and flip the food. after that came the nose to sleeve wipe.
never washed or went to the sink. Needless to say we left after telling the manager.

Food:

I come often for lunch. Food is fine. One waitress is great others so so. What pisses me off is the WiFi does not work 30% of time. They don't seem to care. It's one of the reasons I do lunch at Denny's. Might need to start checking thier internet before I sit down..

Food:

If I want to place a take out order over the phone I should be able to do so. What the heck??? That is the easiest money for any place to make! Just take my order I come pick it up everyone's happy. But no. We don't do take out on certain days because we just don't like making money that's not why this dennys is in business. Who opens a restaurant to make easy money? That's just crazy talk. I would rather eat at home with slightly colder food then next to a ton of little kids and have to wait for a table. I won't be going back or calling for take out ever agian. I will give my money to a restaurant that wants it.
