Denny's, Madison, Wisconsin Restaurant Details

Food:

Had a wonderful experience eating dinner here. My girlfriend and I ordered mozzarella sticks to start. They were awesome. Perfectly cooked. I ordered a beacon burger with fries. Again perfectly cooked. No complaints whatsoever. My girlfriend ordered the tilapia dinner... And she says it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Serrera was so polite and very attentive. Wish there were more waitresses like her in this business. She gets an A+

Food:

Walked in and the first thing I saw was a server eating at the line, then picking up someone's plate and delivering it. Coffee was horrible and the cup had dried spilled coffee all over the outside like someone else had been drinking from it for a few days. I asked for a clean cup and the server reacted like I was overly picky. The new "clean" cup was better but not totally clean. But she did make an effort by wiping some drops off the lip with her bare hand. Lemons in the water looked like they had been sitting out quite a while and had already been squeezed.
We didn't even chance ordering food. Paid for our drinks and went to IHOP.

We had a really good experience here today. It was my first time taking my 2 year old to a restaurant since shortly after she started walking. We cant spend a lot of money and going out. We decided to go early Sunday morning so we wouldn't disturb others, My toddler did have a rough time.Getting most of her teeth now. We got up and walked around the restaurant when she screamed. There was a young woman who took care of us today. Brown hair. She was very nice and reassured us that they have screaming kids all the time,its not a big deal, and once she gets a hang of the restaurant environment it will get easier. There was another waitress there and she just stared at us like we were a crazy. but i wont give a bad review just because of her. The food was excellent and fast. I was so impressed. Our food was pipping hot and our toddlers food was perfect temperature. I would definitely go here again.....From the last time we were here i feel like there was improvement. I also think they must have remodeled.

Food:

Had to wait in line to be seated for 5-10 minutes even though the restaurant was half full at most. No host at the counter, because they were handling take-out instead.
Food came out slowly in relation to how (not) full the restaurant was. Eggs were badly cooked, burned on the bottom and raw on top. Hash browns not crispy on one plate, on another they were burned. Steak tasted like spices had been spilled on it. Biscuit was soft, not crispy on the outside, and it fell apart. Fruit was disappointing for being "premium" and costing extra, mostly melon, 4 slices of banana, 2 slices of apple, and some red grapes.
Seated near kitchen, out of which an awful grease smell was wafting the entire time.
Coffee was fine, but that's about it.

Food:

We almost left. They didnt bring our food for an hour. Wrong food and no coffee was given in that time. This is ridiculous! Go anywhere else!!
