Denny's, Rochester, New York Restaurant Details

Food:

Will never go back again. We had to wait to be seated and the restaurant was only half full, but the waitresses looked at us and turned away until someone else in line yelled at them. We placed our order (their current special banana grand slam) and then we waited and waited while tables that arrived after us got their food. Spoke to our waiter and he said there was only one cook. When the food did arrive it was cold, eggs not cooked right and my husband's plate looked like food was on it but taken off. Plus we saw the waiter cut the bananas on the plate after he just cleaned tables of dirty dishes - is this sanitary. We also ordered the new tropical pancake puppies but they never came because the cook forgot. After dinner, a trip to the bathroom proved to us that this will be the last time at this Dennys. It was so dirty!!!

Food:

The service was slow even though they were not busy. They had little interest in substituting sides between breakfast and dinner meals. My wife chocked twice on her pancakes, but she was taking pretty big bites, so maybe that was her fault..we did get into an argument about the size of the bites she was taking. She doesn't listen very well in most cases..and the silverware we were using seemed dirty or covered with water spots. We basically just used the spoons to stir our chocolate milks, but then thought maybe we should have asked for cleaner spoons. Our waitress was nice but took forever to bring us the bill. I would probably recommend going there but be careful of the silverware and the size of the bites your taking, and avoid going with my wife.

Food:

Would give 0 stars if possible. Arrived with a party of 11 and told 30 minute wait. Granted it was busy and the.wait staff was hustling. but management was too lazy to kick out a table that had been there for almost 4 hours.
After a 2 hr wait we finally got a table. The water glasses were child size for adults yet the soda came in regular glasses. Punished for not drinking sugar water? Had to ask for silverware, food didn't come as ordered and was disgusting. Greasy, burnt, and nasty. Didn't even bother with to go containers.
There are plenty of diners in the area. Most owned locally, will be patronizing them more from now on!!!

Arrived there at 12:30PM Father's Day 2013 with six family members. Told the wait would be 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later the hostess said the table was ready by was inaccessable because a server had spilled a tray of food. We were finally seated at 1:15 and quickly ordered. My order included two strips of bacon which were small pieces, barely one strip. My grand-daughter's order included scambled eggs. She received a bonus of two curly hair strands with her eggs. I finished eating and went to the Men's Room. I startled two kitchen staff talking on their cell phones. The place as filthy.
As we were leaving, I counted eight empty boothes/tables and about twelve people waiting to be seated. Evidently the hostess couldn't figure out the logistics of getting the people seated, or was incompetent.
Evidently Denny's does not have standards for service and quality, or if it does, it certainly is not followed here.

Food:

Went here twice in 2 wks, hoping the second time would be better than the first but it wasn't! Waiting forever to order & to get food. Spoke to one of the managers and I have no idea how he is even a manager, he is stupid! Worst dennys ever, will nvr go again to this one.
