Meh, great view. Not so great food. Pork Belly Kimchi fried rice was a big thumbs down.

Happy hour on the roof top patio will get you a 5 star experience for a reasonable price on drinks considering, but I rarely spring for their admittedly delicious and equally pricey food. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. No where else in Portland has this type of view for your happy hour.

As alluded to in an earlier review, there were no beautiful people present at the lounge while I was there. I stayed anyway.

The cocktails were on point and well executed and the decore was straight out of A Clockwork Orange. Bizzare and disjointed but it works.

From a service perspective, not terrible but not great either. The expectations were higher based on the caliber of the hotel.

As I sit here in a booth (completely enveloped in a food coma) I reminisce about the food that I consumed only a few minutes ago. Departure and the executive chef Gregory Gourdet have blown my expectations out of the water. The atmosphere is 'futuristic' and modern, the staff are polite and knowledgable, and the food is incredible. The layers of flavor and texture are pronounced, even to an inexperienced palate like my own. The food chemistry used in every single dish on the menu have opened my eyes to a world of food I hadn't previously experienced. Be sure not to pass over the sushi menu!

One of the most incredible dining experiences of my life, the view was breathtaking and the food was amazing. The bar was full of some of the most beautiful people I have seen in a lounge, everyone was dressed up and nobody was too loud. 60%Guys, a lot of them were really cute however.

Absolutely one of the most classy and well mannered places around. I probably will be thinking about this place for the couple of weeks. Surprisingly I made reservations in 2 hours and got a seat right away on the deck, this was on a Friday night.
