Terrible service. Don't be a normal Caucasians or beautiful Asian, or married couples in you 40-50s. You need to have multiple ear and face ornaments, and body art. Terrible, do not go!!!!!

I find myself making music at First Avenue at least a few times a year, thus because of their 50% discount, I have found myself eating multiple times within this place. I've tasted virtually their entire menu. That being said, if you're looking for overpriced, over seasoned cuisine, look no further than The Depot Tavern. Though the menu shows great promise in ingenuity & creativity upon first glance, the on-staff chefs (and, I use this term VERY loosely) simply cannot supply the flavors each dish demands. However, if you're in the downtown Minneapolis area looking to get drinks with some friends pre or post event without having that coveted "downtown budget," they can easily provide the pseudo-cheapness for you, but only in the form of domestic beers. Before leaving, though, remember to grab something off their food menu to feed to your dog.

I had a bad experience made worse by poor customer service. I ordered a veggie burger but was given a regular cheeseburger. Disappointed and hungry, I made the server aware of my issue. He acted annoyed and as if it was my mistake. He never apologized for the error, simply took the food and disappeared for at least 20 minutes. I could see my food in the kitchen window for 10 minutes before it was brought to our table by another server I had to flag down. The rest of my party finished eating before my food arrived, and when it came it was cold and the other guests in my party were ready to leave. Annoyed, I waited an additional 10 minutes for the server to return from who knows where (it was not busy) to ask for a box.
