Delicious food! I had the chicken fried steak covered with white gravy and two eggs and hash browns. Perfect. Southern Old atmosphere.

this might be the nicest diner/cafe I've ever been in. nice atmosphere, good food, even pretty carpet. hard to fit cuz you can't get to Cucharras off Tejon or Cascade. must use Nevada. worth the search.

Great place to meet friends for breakfast. A dying breed of old-fashioned, down-home, country cooking. Just plain comfort - in food and atmosphere.

I've been going to Detz's for over fifteen years. The food and the service are always great, as are the prices. Great place to meet someone for a business discussion in one of their booths. They also have a lunch counter where you can sit on one of the stools and share the daily paper with some of the locals. They have a very loyal group of regulars. Friendly atmosphere, and one of the last of the independent cafes in town that's not a chain restaurant or a fast food place. Try it, you'll like it! Dennis McC.
