I am an experienced diner. We frequently dine at fine establishments around the country and world. Your service is mediocre, the establishment is dated and dirty, your plates are cheap, and the food was sub par at best. Your vegetable of the day was corn? Really with my $36 piece of Halibut. It was slapped on a plane cheap white plate with a piece of parsley. Your menu claims it is the "Best in town" It is not, 3 Point was much better. The waitress recommended home fries with my $36 piece of Halibut. I ordered them, the were not very good either. Again, surprising to hear you offer home fries at such an establishment. You are misrepresenting yourselves on your website. Nothing was "bad" but certainly you can not compete with the other fine dining establishments. You need to lower your prices, remodel, get new dishes, and reconsider your side options. I didn't go to Denny's, I went to the "Diamond Grill!"

AMAZING!!! From the minute my husband and I walked in, we were greeted, seated and tended to promptly. Our waitress, Lisa, timed our drinks, appetizers & dinner perfectly!! As we dined, one of the owners, Nick, and his niece, Wendy, stopped at our table to ensure the food, service & everything else was to our liking, which it absolutely was! For starters, we had the bacon (which you have to try at least once in your life....not kidding, its THAT good!), shrimp cocktail & oysters Rockefeller.......all of which were LARGE portions & heavenly! For dinner we had the Royal Filet Mignon and split a lobster tail....which were cooked EXACTLY the way we ordered them...a PERFECT medium rare....the most tasty and juicy steak I may have ever had...we purchased a bottle of "The Prisoner" cabernet (HIGHLY recommend) to compliment our meal. Oh, and be sure to order the Willie fries...they add an extra little spicy kick!! Leave a little room for the ice cream...it is light, creamy and tasty....a perfect dessert after the decadent meal we had!! This was our first trip to the Diamond Grille for dinner and the people and atmosphere made us feel as if we had been coming there for years! Relaxed, casual atmosphere with legendary food.....even the salads (with the house dressing) were terrific!! I can tell you I would do it all over again TONIGHT if I could!!!

Every time I have dinner here, I am reminded why. It's authentic, fantastic, and old school. The food is great, the servers are attentive, and cash only....Can't wait to go back.

Let me just start by saying I've been around the country and the world and definitely favor the traditional Steakhouse restaurants. At 1st glance the curb appeal is exactly what I was looking for. We decided to have a glass of wine at the bar before being seated, the bartender was certainly not interested in taking our drink order or in greeting us. So next it time to be seated by the old grumpy man that couldn't hear. After being seated it took 20 minutes to get a menu and water 10 more for some gross bread from a bag. After another 20 minutes we put our order in and amazingly enough we got our food about an hour later. Royal filet, dry and completely tasteless. Mushrooms cold and taste like they came straight from a can, broccoli cold and tasteless. I could go on about my sisters meal but I think you get the point. Very disappointing.
