Love the motif and off-the-wall college bar atmosphere, but the foot was just ok. The dogs were tepid except the corn dog. I meant to get mine charred (grilled) instead of the standard boiled, but forgot to specify when I ordered. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

I would go again, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Bland and boring dog. We left disappointed and puzzled by previous good reviews.

Chili and slaw were both dry and flavorless. Steamed dog on cold food service bun. Fries were decent. Nothing special here.

Bacon wrapped hotdog with refried beans in this comfortable restaurant.

There are dozens of specialty hotdogs with a wide variety of exotic toppings.

Quite a few beers on tap, many of them local.

Food:

Great place for both Chicago style hot dogs as well as many unique creations. Well stocked bar and friendly staff make for a nice distraction while waiting for a table.

One of the few places in Columbus to catch Chicago sports.

I suggest pairing food from Franks with a trip to 16 Bit right next door for a great evening

A fun place with a wide selection of specialty hot dogs. Don't let anyone over-hype this for you. It's hot dogs, it's not reinventing the wheel. That being said, they're great hot dogs. The place is small so you might wait a while during peak hours, but I would suggest everyone at least try it once so you can have an opinion on a restaurant that seems to be quite polarizing!
