Ruined a great New Year's Eve night. Our waitress was good, no complaints there. Though, the manager on the other hand needs to find a new profession. One of our entrees was mishandled, and there was little to no attempt to correct this mistake. The manager was quite rude, and drastically under-dressed for what type of restaurant they are trying to portray (an un-tucked button up shirt with a longer t-shirt than the button up underneath it- this would be OK for a sports bar...not for a $14 entree type place!). When one person asked for a to-go cup for her soda, the manager remarked "this is not a Mcdonalds". A simple no or a simple explanation would have been sufficient, but the extra comments were not warranted. His overall demeanor was at best rude. He was stressed out and took it out on our table (when only 2 others were occupied I might add...not busy at all). I will certainly not be going back here ever again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.

in the space that corduroy used to occupy, but it doesn't hold a candle. i had a reasonable spinach salad, but the risotto was bland and boring. service was not knowledgeable enough about their wines by the glass.

We went in after a day of wandering the DC streets, we decided to eat at The District Grill which is located on the second floor of our hotel The Four Points Sheraton. Were tired and in a little bit of a rush so we ordered an appetizer that we planned to split with the idea that it would be FAST. The resturaunt had a few occupied tables but not busy and no wait. I would say they were at 20% or so. 35 minutes later after several "Im sure your appetizer will be right out" lines from our waitress my pregnant wife gets up to voice her feelings about her grumbling tummy. A Few minutes later the waitress brings us our appetizer, we took a bite and the meat was raw and cold. All of this time we never seen a manager nor was one offered to us but the waitress offered to cook us something else, but we had both pretty much had it at that point, a mouth full of raw meat is a real appetite killer. I doubt we will be going back to The District Grill.
