Slow and indifferent service. Food was good.

The waitress was so rude, and they all looked like they hate their jobs. The wait for food was so long. I look around the full restaurant and no one has food and all drinks are empty. Silverware, napkins, straws for dinks, what's that? I went more than a year ago and had a negative experience (with service and wait) I decided to try it again and had the same problems. Even trying to pay for the bill took forever. Oh, and too expensive for what it is. 1 chicken tenders kids meal and 1 shrimp po-boy was $30. The waitresses should really try to smile a little more and at least pretend that they want to be there.

You'd think with a place called Dixie Chicken and Ribs, they would have good chicken and ribs, not so. BBQ chicken was a baked-in-the-oven piece of chicken with bbq sauce slathered all over it. Ribs tasted like they came out of a packet and were baked with the chicken and had the same bbq sauce on them. I mean, spend $75 and get a bbq pit from Home Depot if you want to say you have barbeque.

Woman behind the bar was more interested in talking to her buddy than grabbing my take-out order from the kitchen. Must've stood at the bar(4ft away from her) for 5 minutes before I spoke up and said I wanted to get my order. She got it, and continued talking to the one guy at the bar. Had to tell her to grab my receipt because she was too busy to notice it had printed during her illustrious, worldly conversation. Deserved a negative tip, but I was nice and just wrote that if her service was as good as her boobs, we'd be in good shape.

Maybe the fried chicken is good, but I'll never find out because I am not going back.

Food:

Had to wait 20 minutes for some to take our order. Tables that came in after us have eaten and left,, but we still have not gotten our food. Two sandwiches and chicken strips. Drinks were left empty for more than 15 minutes. This is a miserable dining experience and we will most likely not return. The chicken orders came to the table but not a hamburger. We are finished but my husband still has not seen his burger.
