My favorite Korean restaurant hands down. Well next to an all you can eat KBBQ restaurant. They give you a ton of side dishes including steam egg. Also they will give you unlimited refills of them. The price is decent but is not the cheapest Korean restaurant in town. It's a small restaurant so expect there to be a wait especially since each time i visit there seems to be more and more people who frequent. They also provide you sweet flavored tea at the end of the meal and the people are always friendly. A must go.

Their chap chae noodles and bibimbap are okay but not outstanding and their tofu is as expected. There's a wide variety of banchan side dishes here but the quality is average. Most entrees are reasonably priced and average across the board in terms of meeting expectations. Service can be hit or miss depending on whether you come when it's busy. It's so-so, but there's better options for Korean food in SD.

I don't know what has happened to this place but it has more than gone downhill. They've stopped trying.

Today they utterly failed at serving lunch. We ordered a galbi lunch combo and what came out was undercooked. The fat was not rendered and the beef was still mooing when it came out. Disgusting.

It used to come out on a sizzling platter but now they just stick it in your bento box so who knows how long it had been sitting out..

The chicken combo was even worse. It had been marinated forever in crappy Mr. Yoshida sauce forever and had the texture of dry rubber. It too, used to come out on a sizzling platter.

The tea was scalding hot and had not cooled down by the time I finished eating. Seriously why would you superheat your tea past the liquid phase of matter? It's a waste of energy and does not even allow your customers to enjoy it.

The last straw (thankfully) came at the end when the place started stinking of old, nasty, wet rags. I don't know what they were doing in the back but we high-tailed it out of there, never to come back.
