I called Dolci to order a cheesecake and have it delivered to my boyfriend's office on his birthday. They told me they usually need at least 2 days notice for an order and delivery to guarantee it is delivered on time. It was a last minute idea, but figured I would ask them anyways. I told them I lived in Boston, why I was sending it, and how I wouldn't be able to see him on his birthday. They were SO accommodating and willing to do this for me despite it being on short notice!! I had them decorate it with edible glitter, hearts and lips to embarrass him in front of his coworkers. The person I talked to promised me they would make it very mushy and extra embarrassing :) Dolci even offered to call me when it was delivered. In the end, my boyfriend was beyond embarrassed but extremely happy with the cheesecake I custom ordered on only a days notice. I was very happy with their service. My only wish is that I could have had a slice!

Food was excellent. Stopped in for lunch and had the mozzarella and tomato sandwich on their homemade baguette with a cup of sweet potato bisque. The sandwich came with chips and a delicious salad (vegetables advertised as grown within 2 miles of the place). The sandwich was excellent. The baguette was excellent and the rest of the sandwich was great as well. The sweet potato bisque was thick and sweet - but went well with the sandwich. Overall the food was very tasty and also very aesthetically pleasing as well. A++

The two people working there were very polite and also recommended some good things to eat. The only reason I didn't give service a "3" is because the restaurant layout was a bit weird. The only menu you have to order off of looks like it came off of a printer and the font is pretty small. We waited in line not knowing what type of food the place even served and then felt rushed to look over the menu as there were others waiting behind us. Inside the restaurant was very warm so we opted to sit out front where there wasn't much shade and it felt a bit detached from the rest of the restaurant.

Overall the food was excellent and I will most likely stop back in.

I tried this place multiple times and I can't believe that this owner is able to run a business at all! He was very rude when I reported a problem with an order. I've never experienced anything this bad.

My order was incorrect (he used non-vegan ingredients in a vegan-ordered cake) and he accused me of lying to him - that I MUST have ordered a non-vegan cake because that's how he "wrote it down." I mean, come on, the reason I went to him in the first place is because I'm vegan and needed a good vegan cake. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. So in the end - I had to throw out the cake - after I had accidentally eaten non-vegan for the first time in years because of him!

I feel disappointed, angry, and in basic disbelief of how bad this place is. Absolutely do not go here.

Not good at all - and I tried them no less than three times!
(1) The first time I got a cupcake - with them was 'average' at best. In fact I found it to be very gritty with sugar, yuck.
(2) The next time I tried one of their cookies - no joke - it was hard as a rock. Not impressed at all with the quality thus far.
(3) For whatever reason (I ought to have me head examined) I decided to give them another chance an ordered a cake. I figured - it'll be great because it will be fresh. I should have known better - It wasn't even "average." It was downright bad. One of the reviews called the owner 'incredibly nice' - that review couldn't be further from the truth. I called to let him know about the poor quality of the cake - and he simply blamed it on his staff. No offer to make it up. Not even an apology. He just blame it on his staff and took no responsibility. Nice. Feel free to message me if you want any more details - or better yet - just skip this place.

They moved to a different location, they are @ 205 grant now. They always have lovely vegan options, the cupcakes are almost always vegan. Sometimes, they will have donuts and most of the time, miniature cookies! Also, their bread is vegan. The owner is incredibly nice.
