I don't like the word hate so I don't agree with the 1-star caption but we did not like this place. We ordered the Kansas city cuts - $75 and they were luke warm, super salty, fatty and tough- we get better steaks at Costco! We also did get a discount we were told we were getting- but by the time we got our bill, we just wanted to leave!

Totally disappointed. The $71.00 porterhouse was completely average. I feel I could have cooked the same steak at home from Costco. The Augratin potatoes were also boring and cold. Do yourself a favor and visit Arrowhead Grill. An amazing 22oz porterhouse for $50, better service, better sides. Get the prosciutto wrapped asparagus

Nooo...don't do it...and here's why!

My husband and I decided to take a date night out to Donovan's. The valet was very nice, parked the car and we went inside. The hostess sat us down at a table right in the pathway of where you come into the place and in route to the bathroom. When we asked for another seat, they stated they were fully booked and she walked away. However, we looked around and the place was nearly empty.

We had two waiters who could hardly be bothered to take our drink order, but the gentleman who filled our water glass was wonderful...too bad he wasn't our waiter.

The food was not great. Our potatoes were cold and the veggies had hardly been cooked. For a $50 steak, I would have hoped it would have tasted wonderful...but it was terrible. We have had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the cost.

Seriously the most disappointing experience ever! I have never written a review before, but felt the need to warn others not to waste their money on this steakhouse. Some may think we're cheap or upset at the price. We're not. We are very well off and wanted to spend money in the place on drinks, dessert, etc... But the waitress brought the bill, said she'd be back and we never saw her again. Good thing we could pay in cash or we may still be waiting.

Needless to say, the Valet got a very hefty tip as did the gentleman filling our water glasses as they were the best part of the place!

"A real star in a crowded sky", this "upscale" Biltmore steakhouse presents "melt-in-your-mouth" meat and "fresh" seafood in a "comfortable", "dark-wood" setting; add "tremendous service" and devotees deem it "expensive but worth the price."
