03/22/2016 8:41 pmAlways loved this spot until the last 2 visits. We had a bad experience where a waiter dumped a tray of ice water on our guests at the table. The waiter ran off and was embarrassed and we complained but no one did a damn thing to accommodate us. We then complained upon leaving to the management and they assured us they had no idea of the occurrence and would make it up to us the next time we come in, I asked for a business card and they stated, don't worry we won't forget you. Well guess what, went back and they forgot about us, did nothing for us. Food was still great but I was disappointed that they did NOT keep their word. |

03/12/2016 1:16 pmSlow the food was pretty good the service was something else the only waitress decided on a two person bill to write in a ten dollar gratuity I don't mind tipping and even though the service was ok and very slow the fact that it was forced on to me was something else its a shame too see an old bar like that go down hill because of service the fact is it's not the worst place but I for one won't be going back there are too many other places with far better service with in walking distance |

02/15/2016 8:10 amHorrible. The Hamburger last time was tastesless and burnt same with the Chicken Quesedilla. The Chicken Wings are good but the chicken tenders almost impossible to break apart to dip. Last time ordered on Grubhub at 1 a.m. No call no show. Avoid this place at all costs. |

12/17/2015 12:58 amI really can't fathom the 1 star reviews here and can only assume they are extremely outdated opinions. Downey's is a totally fun place that really stands out from many of the crowded Irish bars in the same area that are full of half-wits, loud-mouths and generally drunken a-holes. It's really only second in awesomeness to the amazing The Irish Times, which is right around the corner. |
