The patio is the best kept secret in town. A lovely oasis. For years, however, I have been disappointed that they don't make cole slaw. It goes so well on a ruben sandwich. I have requested it for 15 years. I guess they must have some kind of aversion to it. I always thought cole slaw was pub food.

Still like all the EJs, the gorganzola fries are best with the gorgonzola on the side, you're welcome. I miss the half chicken dinner, it's a game changer.

EJ Malloy's is a tried-and-true standby for good eats and brews in the 'hood. I can't believe I haven't written a review about this location yet. I used to the go to the one in Bixby Knolls a lot as it was close to my old office, but now I come to this one more often since it's close to home. Still love their gorgonzola fries, but I do try to limit the intake. I had their Monday burger, fries and beer for $10 deal recently, which was pretty sweet. They have some kind of deal going on for every day of the week and the servers are always friendly and smiling every time I come here. The only drawback for me is the layout: it's all long and narrow so it can feel a little cramped. Their patio is nice, though, so there's that.

They're also a MOGL restaurant, which means you get cash back every time you dine here. Get the app, link it to a credit card, and every time you use that card at a MOGL establishment, you get like 10% back, which is pretty generous, I think.

Gorgonzola fries! Back patio is peaceful for weekend breakfasts. Friendly staff, good beer.
