03/13/2015 10:08 amUnfortunately we had a bad experience on 3/12/15 at this restaurant. The service was bad and the waiters. After we were seated and received our drinks, Our waiter did not return to our table until a half hour to get our dinner choices. After that was received we waited another 30 minutes just to get our salad and soup. The appetizer we received was burnt very badly. At this point we were thinking of leaving, but I tried to just hang in there. 45 minutes later (literally) we still hadn't received our food and the waiter had just come out to tell me that the baked potato was no longer available anymore (45 minutes later) I politely asked him why wasn't this noticed earlier since we have been waiting so long already for our food. He was very unapologetic and basically overall said it wasn't his fault. We asked to speak to a manager, she was kinder and said she would remove the banana peppers from the bill and our drinks. The drinks remained on the bill, and on top of that when we finally received our food it was a baked potato on both plates. So yes, where did the baked potato come from? And it makes us think why were we lied too? A very big disappointment, and we were their nearly 3 hours, from a 7 pm reservation. The crowd drastically died down around 8:30 ish but everything was VERY delayed and staff was just very rude. |

06/29/2014 5:10 pmI have been to the Eagle House on quite a few occasions. friday night I had the fish fry, broiled. The fish was cooked beautifully. The cole slaw was very good and the fries were seasoned and crispy. The food is always good and the prices are good as well. I have been to much pricier restaurant where the food is not half as good as Eagle House. I ordered the Eagle House punch to drink. Wow, it was fantastic. Whoever made that drink was an excellent bartender. Not too strong, but not weak where I couldn't taste the flavored rum and vodka. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had. The patio was absolutely beautiful. So inviting. The meal was a great value. |

01/22/2014 6:46 pmUpscale. Old English setting. Small bar. French Onion soup good but too much cheese that needs to be baked and not mildy torched. Welsh rarebit, hard to find, is delicious. Try it with sliced tomato. House cocktails are very good. Price is good for the servings. |

12/16/2013 3:37 pmWe just had our holiday party here this weekend. Tricia who I dealt with to do the menu was great, as well as our waiter who took care of our party of 17. Our waiter also knew the whole history of the eagle House, which I thought was great. We had a private room and they created a special menu for our guests. It was cozy and intimate and the food was great! It's hard to have so many meals come at the same time. I had fish, which is often over cooked with large parties, and it was perfect! They made me fresh steamed veggies too. Thank you for making our holiday party a success! |
