East Of Chicago Pizza Co, Toledo, Ohio Restaurant Details

The pizza is NOT good... Buffet days are slow to bring out pizzas and someone was cooking with a baby in the kitchen

Came in for buffet on a Sat. Evening. With about 20 people in the dining area, they only had a single pizza coming out every 10 min...leading to a frenzy getting to a piece. Gotta do better than that.

Worst experience. The pizza place is so dirty. The tables were greasy and the plate had residuals. The owners there were so rude to customers. Had to complaint to the health department for the violations!!!

One star because there is no option for less. Worst customer service experience in my life. I ordered online to pick up & pay in the store. I had a coupon for $1 off that I printed from their website. I was told by the gentleman ringing me out he didn't know how to give the discount. Another guy (I'm assuming a manager) came over & told me he couldn't take the coupon because I ordered online & he would have to eat the dollar. He then proceeded to insult me & what he assumed I did for a living. I realize it's only a dollar, but at this point it was more the principle of what's right is right. I suggested just cancelling the order & reringing it. He said he can't because he still has to pay that amount. At this point I'm pretty aggravated but maintain my cool and ask if he would rather eat the dollar for the coupon or the $25 for the pizzas. He responded by calling me a "f@#king a$%hole and continuing withe the barrage of personal insults. Needless to say I left without the pizzas and I won't be going back. Again... It was never about the money... It was about service.

I would like to express my disgust with the East of Chicago located in Maumee, OH. I placed my order and requested my pizza a specific way and when i received it AN HOUR LATER, it was not how i ordered it. Also, upon receiving my order, i read the receipt that was printed and given to the driver. MY FULL NAME, FULL ADDRESS, FULL PHONE NUMBER AND FULL CREDIT CARD NUMBER WITH EXPIRATION DATE was printed on the receipt (not the cc slip i sign) - it was listed as a line of my order. I cannot believe how careless and thoughtless this was. I mean, this day in age, we have enough issues with cc fraud and identity theft that I dont need my personal credit card number, with expiration date and my full address/name printed and carelessly handled and trusted to a no brain driver who could harvest the information him/her-self and use it or sell it for their own personal gain. I called and spoke with John, the manager on duty, and he informed that that is how he was shown and had been doing it for the last 3 years!?! I asked to speak to a person higher up and then said that I \"should\" expect a call within the next day or so but (and I quote) \"the owners have bad memories\"... This is ABSURD!!
