Eat An American Bistro, Virginia Beach, Virginia Restaurant Details

Food:

The one time I ate here, there were rats crawling around the window sills. The staff was completely dismissive saying "it was common for the northern end of the beach to have rats" and that "it wasn't a problem because the only thing stored in that room were the dishes and linens". Immediately my family paid and left. As we were walking back to our hotel, we decided to go back and try to get at least some of our money back. They refused.

Food:

Not often do we find a place to awaken our tastebuds! Eat certainly did. Amazing dishes that were new to our ears and tongues. Tasty tasty tasty. We will come back for sure..

Limited menu, great drink selection though. Was expecting something really good and it just didn't have the menu I was hoping for. Nothing was bad. Just limited.

Best meal I have ever had at Virginia Beach and maybe best I have had anywhere else.my wife and I come to the beach to eat .we have been to a lot of places and sampled a lot of items.I can only say that this place will be very hard to beat.my compliment s to the chef and staff.will be back next year be back next year.

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a food snob. I don't eat at chain restaurants. I fully appreciate the skill and talent that chef brings to the dining experience. Creating interesting flavors, tastes, and experiences. The team at EAT, is one of the best I've ever found. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the food? Well let's just say that it's incredible, I mean really AMAZING. I've eaten at some of the top restaurants in the world, and while some of them are much more 'fancy' than Eat, the food is no better. Simply put, this place is fantastic. My wife and I ate on Monday night, and loved it so much, we brought our friends back and ate again on Tuesday night, and I'd bet before we leave Virginia Beach, we'll be back again.
