I love that place. The food is great and I usually sit at the bar with my husband. The bartender makes me a special drink something like a vodka mix with mango juice. I can't wait to go there this week

I went to meet my wife and her co-worker last night. When I arrived there were maybe 4-6 people there not including myself and my wife and her co-worker. They had already ordered there drinks and I was looking through the menu, when I heard oh!! They have mussels and I have had them here and there pretty good. I told them I probably wouldn't eat them but to order them. When they received there food much later than we should have but whatever I guess that means we can have a couple of drinks first before food comes. My wife and her co-worker started in on it and to there surprise there was a lot of empty shells? So my wife asked and they said they are probably at the bottom, so they dig all the way down and started to stir the water and butter around in circles with no mussels around. They asked that either they got another order or it gets taken off the check and they said no we where wrong and the measure them out. I let them go back and forth for a minute before I chimed in and said all they want are some mussels just replace the order. The manager woman for whatever reason didn't want to hear anything about it and said to follow her for a moment and said don't ever come back and we are wrong and not wanted here. I was completely imbarassed by all of this. In one moment we were eating and now we are being thrown out, Now that I have had time to think about it this woman should be ashamed of herself!!!! I have given this place a number of passes due to the lack of compidence this place has!!! Me and my wife had come to the conclusion that it's not a place to get a meal but a place for an app and a drink. Unfortunately we don't have many places around us we can go have a drink and an app. I haven't ever said anything about the raw duck they served me that got me sick or the steak that also had me in bed for two days. I knew they didn't have the best reputation for food it was more of a place to get a drink after work. There was a manager from Newburyport who was wonderful a couple of years back, this woman who runs this establishment now should be fired immediately for not knowing how to treat the customer. I have never been so angry about a bad night at a restaurant. I will be seeking the BBB about this matter and the owner who I hope has no clue about this. When I started to write this I wanted to see what others had to say, oh my god!!!!! This place should be ashamed to treat people like this and think it's ok!!! They messed with the wrong people this time and I will Persue action against them.

Great brunch! incredible selection of mimosa's, very nice and original benedicts.
Our go to place for Sunday brunch for last 3 months.

My fiance and I had a reservation for 7:30pm, which we arrived right on time for. We were seated promptly and our waitress greeted us a few moments later. We informed her that we had a groupon and asked if there were any restrictions. We quickly learned we were restricted to barely half of the menu and that was when everything changed.

Immediately we were treated like monster customers because we had a groupon and we were berated with rolling eyes and snarky looks from the staff and other restaurant patrons, minus our waitress who stayed polite and kind. It was as if having a groupon made us the worst possible customers who were rude to everyone when it was quite the opposite. We ordered our appetizers and waited for over 30 minutes before we were even offered any bread while we waited and then were scoffed at when asking for a little extra oil. 15 minutes after that our appetizers came. Luckily those were decent. Nothing to write home about though.

Over an hour later our entrees had still not shown and we flagged down our waitress. We had waited so long that we decided to just take our dinner home and skip to dessert because we were no longer hungry for any form of full meal. We then waited another 30 minutes for those to come out and once again the food was alright, but nothing spectacular.

At the end of the night we had spent over 2 hours at this restaurant and the only nice person was our waitress who apologized profusely as well as the manager who also offered an apology. That was a nice gesture, but the damage was already done. Needless to say we will never be returning to this restaurant and I can only hope the staff isn't so unpleasant to any further groupon users.

Wonderful experience. Great service. Good recommendation on food. Full of taste in every bite with casual upscale atmosphere. Reasonable pricing.
