My niece who is under age went to this bar was served drinks by the latin bartender named Bruce. All my niece remembers from that night is being in the back of his car, him getting off her and her panties being around her ankles. Him pushing her out of his black Mercedes benz coupe all the while saying he got over on "The Jungle Bunny!" I guess he feels he can get away with it being that she's young Black and underage.

The Dive Bar Egbert Souse on Piedmont Avenue needs to be closed! Saying the place is a "Dive Bar" is too nice. Egbert Souse's is a nuisance at all times of the day and night. Egbert Souse has a negative impact on Piedmont Avenue residents, visitors and businesses. Egbert Souse's customers are always blocking the sidewalk in front and around the bar. Fights break out at least twice a week (including weapons). Customers sit in their cars playing loud music while drinking and using drugs. The City of Oakland has even filed lawsuits against Egbert Souse's. How many people have to be shot and killed at Egbert Souse's to get it shutdown?
