Eggs Etc, Long Beach, California, American Restaurant Details

Food:

Had tow eggs over medium and bacon with home fries. Eggs were a little too runny bacon and home fries were good. Fries could have been crisper. The biscuit was kind of stale though. Service was OK. I would come back to try some omelettes and skillet dishes based on photos from other users.

I love this place!! I'm so sad that I'm moving to the east coast. I'm going to miss this place. The pancakes are amazingly amazing.

Very great service. Our waiter was servicing 6 other tables and did an amazing job. Food was great. Pancakes are like crepes and not as big as others described but did taste good. My sister had the Rancho omelette and I had the Popeye omelette.

I think this place is getting good reviews mainly because it has a large selection of healthy choices i.e. brown rice, veggie dishes, soy options, squaw bread, etc. But the food isn't that amazing, its average. Pancakes are amazing though, but not very hard to do.

I came at the end of Sunday rush. The waitress just wanted to get out of here and was very uninviting. The place was a disaster, the floors were disgusting with food and trash everywhere and we had to clean off our seats before sitting down. But the table was supposedly cleaned with new silverware already placed. The bathrooms were also very dirty.

Anyway, the food was good, but breakfast isn't very difficult so that's not saying much. I will give them credit for having so many healthy options, but I won't be coming back because the waitress was very dull and uninviting, but mainly because the entire place was a mess. I understand Sunday is busy but you can't enjoy your food knowing they don't care about cleanliness. If the customer area and bathrooms looks like this, I'm afraid what the back looks like especially in the kitchen. Scary.... Eat here at your own risk.
