El Pollo Loco, Long Beach, California, Mexican Restaurant Details

It's a small restaurant, and almost every time I've come drive thru I'm here for 15+ mins

Always a long wait here. The employees aren't on point, the place gets dirty and tables uncleaned most of the time. The food here has given me bubble guts more than once. The employees are always playing with each other and in the back hiding. Food is cold and sloppy half the times i went here. The condiments are poorly made and soggy/old.

I will never come to this el pollo loco location again...First, I place my order meanwhile while I'm placing my order through the drive through I can hear the young girl laughing having side conversations with her coworker. she repeats my order back, its fine (3 piece meal & $5 pollo bowl). I get the window to pay she hands me my food with no receipt. I check the bag there's no pollo bowl. So I asked her where is the pollo bowl..she quickly prints the receipt and snatches and hands it to me saying "I didn't charge you for it....do you want to add it"....I told her no...I pull off some reading my receipt and I see she charged me for an extra breast. Which I did not even order. I look at the chicken and its hardly cooked the skin on the chicken is not crispy its Luke warm tempture damn near cold. If she wasnt busy running her mouth and laughing like she's at a party maybe she can take CORRECT orders. Whoever she is I did not get her name but she is unprofessional and does need to be working at the register through the drive through. I went on Friday night (July 27th) around 9:30 p.m she was wearing red lip stick. Hire some professional people who can take orders right and not serve cold non-crispy chicken to PAYING customers !

In the diner everything was dirty. Every corner was filthy the tables were sticky. The salda bar was dirty and empty. The restooms weere not stocked. The cashier was rude. The food took almost 30 min to be ready.

Good food but this store does a poor job in keeping panhandlers out.They don't seem to care.It could be cleaner.Tables are messy.Drinks are poorly mixed and they run out of ice often.The food tastes good though. The workers are not too bright , so explain the order clearly.
