Had the fajitas. They flavor was there, but the meat could have been much better quality.

Poor service; no one seemed to understand English, worst Mexican food and drinks I have ever had,
bathrooms were filthy. Appetizer came out with the meal instead of ahead of time. Ordered sour cream and did not receive it until we asked two more times. We had a very well behaved 2 year old with us and they seated us in a section away from people which someone was cleaning. Went to pay and they overcharged us; disputed the bill....manager came to register and redid the bill without us explaining anything. Gave the impression they did this on purpose cause most people do not check their bill. Experience was a total turn off....will never try again.

We made the mistake going on one of the hottest days of the year. Bad idea! They apparently don't have air conditioning. This was made worse by the fact we spent nearly 2 hours there due to extremely poor service. We waited 45 minutes to order food, 30 minutes for it to come out, and 45 minutes just for my son's ice cream and the bill!

As for the food, it wasn't bad, but none of us were blown away. I ordered the shrimp tacos, which were tasty, but no way was there enough food to justify their price (3 small tortillas with only a few seasoned shrimp in each, a small dish of beans, and a small container of both green sauce and pico de gallo; add some rice and onions or peppers with the shrimp and it would helped a lot). The salsa was bland. The margaritas were poor. My wife could have got a better hard shell taco at Taco Bell. If we wanted our waters filled, we had to find someone.

I will never again make the mistake of going somewhere other than La Mexicana.
