Seated quickly. Food quickly. Quite pricey - $13 burrito meal but the shredded chicken had great flavor. Good tortillas, they are freshly made. As a bonus, we were seated next to the window and got to enjoy a lightning storm over dinner :)

Okay, I love Mexican food, but haven't found many exceptional places since moving to Arizona. El Zocalo is exceptional! The atmosphere is cute, especially with the melted candle wax under the candles (you have to see it). We sat near the front windows where we could people watch as we ate.

I've been looking for a place that makes great Chili Verde and I finally found it! Yes, I'm very excited by this place. The portions are good and the food delicious. Our waiter, Nick, suggested the cheese relleno topped with the Chili Verde, so my wife tried it and it was rich, savory, and spectacular.

The service was very good and our dining experience made dinner very special.

This is definitely a place we plan to eat at frequently!

We absolutely love this place! The outdoor patio is the best! Great chips and salsa. Excellent Margs and love-love the Fish Tacos!

My wife, 3 year old daughter and I visited from Texas and absolutely loved it. I got the Chile Verde (awesome) my wife got Relleno de Pollo and took the suggestion to get the green sauce (poblano and tomatillo based) and it was the best Relleno we've had. The margaritas were bomb. I like the floaters so the first one was not as good as my second where I ordered the floater - but both had great flavor. Guacamole was great. Waitress reminded us of home and was very friendly. If it's nice weather sit in the back, great atmosphere. Thanks zocalo!!
